Upload a video
Supported formats, what happens while your video processes, and the details worth filling in.
Last updated Aug 28, 2026
- Select Create → Upload video. This opens Tugel Studio.
- Choose a file or drag it into the window. Most common formats work, including MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV.
- While the video uploads and processes, add a title, description and thumbnail.
- Pick the category the video belongs to, choose whether it is made for kids, add it to playlists and set the visibility: public, unlisted, private or scheduled.
Processing
After uploading, we prepare several versions of your video so it plays smoothly on every connection. Lower qualities are ready first; higher qualities follow a few minutes later.
Details that help viewers find you
- A clear title that says what the video is about.
- A description with context, links and timestamps. Timestamps like 1:05 become chapters automatically.
- A custom thumbnail that represents the video honestly.
- The right category — categories are set by Tugel staff, chosen when you upload, and power Home, Explore and search. Staff may move a video to the category it belongs in.
- Captions make your video accessible and searchable.
Only upload content you made or have permission to use. See Copyright basics.
